Hot Tub Maintenance

Our charges are as follows:-

• £90 per call out, this includes the first hour of diagnostic checks. Most diagnostic checks take less than 1 hour.
• Subsequent on site hours charged at £60 per hour with minimum 30 minute rates at £30
• An additional charge of £1 per mile will be charged for call outs over a 25 mile radius of postcode DH9 (includes travel time to and from destination)
• Call out charges must be paid prior to the call out being carried out, this can be done by banks transfer.
• Once on Dr Hot Tubs data base, subsequent call outs (within a 25 mile radius) will be charged at £45, including diagnostic and first ‘on site’ hour
• Repetitive customers will benefit from a £30 discount for any future call outs and will only be charged the standard labour charge.

Valets and servicing is a Mr Hot Tub speciality. Looking after your Tub both aesthetically and mechanically will ensure many years of trouble free Tubbing. Poor water quality can not only make your Tub an undesirable place to be, but can cause serious damage to major components such as heaters, pumps, pipe work and even your shell.

Service with Filters – £295 – customers will receive 10% off all chemicals and accessories in store once they are on our customer diary database.
Although very unlikely, we cannot always garauntee  customers with filters for spas that haven’t been purchased through The Hot Tub Factory.
If we cannot provide you with free filters, the same Service charge of £295 will still apply.
(Specialised filters such as Sundance, D1, Master Spa, HotSprings, LA Spas etc. will be subject to a small additional charge.)

To keep your tub in pristine mechanical and electrical condition. we recommend at least an annual service. Our 36 point service includes checking electrical components, rubber seals, leaks and much much more. Those taking annual services will receive an automatic discount on spares and repairs should they ever be required.

Full Valet – £195 – With a full Valet we will empty, clean, refill and rebalance your water. we won’t leave until were certain that there are no air locks or problems with your tub that weren’t there before we arrived.

Neglected Tub Deep Clean Valet – £375 – This option is for tubs that have been neglected over a long period of time and needs a good thorough clean out.

Neglected Tub Deep Cleanse Service – £449 – This option is more for tubs that have been standing for a while unused and have become neglected over a longer period of time. We will check the general condition of the tub including electrical componants, rubber seals, check for leaks and much more. This also includes a valet which we will attempt to get the tub in clean condition as is physically possible.

Winter Drain Down / Spring Fill Up – £195
